GURT – Redwin

Gurt contacted me with some info on the latest release titled “Redwin”. They are basically a mix of blues, sludge and screaming. Not too sure about the vocals though. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good guttural growl as much as the next idiot but there seems to be a little too much of it going on. Let the music breath guys!

Nice heavy riff-age though! It’s easily worth a listen. The guitars are tuned down to X and the drummer hits the skins like an Iron Sloth…sweet. Turn it up nice and loud to scare the neighbors.
